In most countries around the world

When you meet a women you like

You say “hi”

And you invite her for a date

If that works well,

You invite her for a second date

If that still works well

You invite her for dinner

… and if that still works well …

Then maybe something else happens!

This is the normal timeline

In most countries around the world

In Sweden…

It works a little bit differently

It usually starts here

Then there is a fast forward process to point E

If you wake up the next morning and the person is still next to you

You invite her for a date

If that works well

You go back to point E

If that still works well

And only then

Can you say "hej" if you meet in the hallway!

Then you invite for a second date
And then for dinner

Because dinners in Sweden are a result of an established relationship,
not a way to getting to know people!
