The Swedish Work Day

Source: "Working with Swedes"

Swedes are rather flexible when it comes to working hours

Most employees arrive at work any time between 7 and 9 am

And they do not need to be at work at the same time every day

Some choose to start the day early

Some go training before work

Some bring their kids to the kindergarten

Normally, if you are at work by 9am, everything should be fine

This flexibility is fantastic for family life

And for people who have different routines

Swedes are not flexible when it comes to other aspects of work life

Meetings and breaks for example

Come when you want at work

But be on time for the Fika!
